Reverie Works

What someone asks for is not always what they need.

Inherit a workshop in the dreaming town of Sombra, practice the dying craft of Thoughtsmithing, and decide whether giving people what they want will actually help them become whole.

ABSTRACT SIGNAL FIELD — NOT GAMEPLAY
01

Premise

Reverie Works is a cozy, surreal crafting life-sim set in Sombra, a dreaming town shaped by memory, longing, and old desktop wallpaper. You inherit a workshop from a mysterious Predecessor and take up the dying craft of Thoughtsmithing—turning the inner life into something tangible.

Explore a warm pixel-art world of neon streets, impossible basements, CRT glow, and Windows 95 charm.

02

How it plays

Gather raw emotional materials, experiment with their strange properties, and refine them at the Dream Still, Thought Loom, Emotion Bottler, and Memory Kiln.

Discover recipes, arrange satisfying production chains, expand your workshop, and create bespoke products for Sombra’s residents. Every ingredient has a temperament, every craft has a quality, and unexpected combinations can produce useful—or beautifully complicated—results.

03

What lies beneath

Every order changes more than the workshop. As friendships deepen and the Predecessor’s unfinished story emerges, you discover that what someone asks for is not always what they need.

The quickest way to make a person feel better may not be the way to help them become whole—and Reverie Works leaves that choice in the player’s hands.
